Material Intelligence is a materials specification resource for furniture producers, interior designers, architects, and students. Kenn Busch, founder of Material Intelligence and ClimatePositiveNOW.org, launched the first Materials Pavilion installation at NeoCon in 2008. Kenn writes for I+S Design, Metropolis, and other commercial interiors publications, and has been creating CEU content for architects and designers for decades.

Material choices matter. Every successful commercial project begins with selecting materials and components that meet your demands for performance, sustainability, and budget—without sacrificing your design goals. Material Intelligence is curating an experiential, educational installation where designers can see and handle a wide range of materials, finishes, and components currently used in top commercial projects. You’ll also find answers to your challenges and inspiration for your projects from the materials experts staffing our space.

Material Intelligence: Destination NeoCon is proud to be a featured NeoCon experience in 2025.

Find us at 7-5079 on the 7th floor of THE MART, June 8–10.
