The mood could safely be described as giddy at this year’s 12th edition of SICAM, the International Exhibition of Semi-finished Components and Accessories for the Furniture Industry. This trade fair, held every fall in Pordenone, Italy, focuses on materials, components, and hardware for the furniture industry. Organizers reported visitors from over 90 countries and 7,200 companies, all with proof of vaccination and a recent negative COVID test. Beneath the masks, it was all smiles.
