‘Furniture for the Future’ from one of Europe’s most important cabinets and closets exhibitions

SICAM offers a masterclass in getting “in touch” with designers and furniture markets.
Exhibitors from dozens of countries used textures, ultra-realistic natural surface designs, innovative materials like recycled PET, 3D fiberboard, and high gloss finishes to inspire manufacturers and designers as they made their way through the compact, bustling, and distraction-free halls.
Cabinet doors and decorative surfaces dominated the show, well supported by manufacturers of the substrates, laminates, finishes, and hardware that complete the finished products. Even décor printers like Interprint, Schattdecor, Surteco, and Impress were there sharing print designs and colors fresh from the trends at the Milan Furniture Fair. Themes of comfort, coziness, and affinity with nature continued from Milan as well, and we don’t see those waning anytime soon.
