A No-Hassle Way to Show Your Materials at Major Design Shows
Material Intelligence has been creating quite a buzz at the major North American design events since 2010 - GlobalShop, NeoCon, and IIDEX. We're going to do it again...and you don't want to miss it!
This is your opportunity to put your materials front-and-center with working designers, who are looking for solutions to their project challenges. As a Materials Pavilion sponsor, we'll display your materials in the Pavilion, which is without fail one of the busiest destinations at these events.
This is a no-hassle proposition. You send us the samples, and we show them to thousands of designers and architects. Of course, sponsors are invited to spend time in the space, helping us answer questions from designers.
Indeed, this is your chance to cement relationships with influential working designers, as many of our 2011 sponsors did. Several, in fact, said conversations from the shows resulted in presentations to design teams and specification in projects.
However, you're not "required" to put in booth time - freeing you to cover the show however you see fit.
All sponsors share in all the leads captured at each event. At NeoCon 2012, for instance, over 1,300 professional designers asked to be scanned and contacted with more information.
“This is the best thing at the show,” said one commercial architect. “I’m so glad I didn’t miss this,” said another. And, “I didn’t know laminates could look so good. They’ve come such a long way!”

Proof of Performance
Here's what one of our regular sponsors, Greg O'Connell from SSI, had to say:
- We came away from NeoCon with 40 or 50 high-quality contacts from a broad spectrum, from healthcare, retail, fixtures, residential, office furniture, a smattering of everything. We're still qualifying and following up, but there are 20 projects that we're certain of. I fulfilled 10 sample requests while at the show that were followed up on before we even left the floor.
- We're north of a 40% open rate on our followups, and have received a tremendous amount of sample requests and have started dialogs with those who have clicked through the newsletter to our site or have contacted us as a result.
- These people are serious about making things happen. They're asking for more samples to send out to their customers.
- From what I see, this - the Materials Pavilion - is what they want. This is the beginning of something that should be a destination for all major A&D shows, and everyone in our industry should be involved.
